This treehouse was built by an 11-year-old boy and his mom. It took him 2.5 years to complete. Grant designed the treehouse and led the project. He used youtube videos to learn almost everything needed to know about building and construction.
Green, reclaimed, recycled or repurposed materials were used everywhere possible. Everything was built from scratch whenever possible. Grant would like to thank his youtube friends including Wranglestar and Deek Diedricksen who taught and inspired this project. Many of the materials were purchased at the re-store. Grant would be happy to speak you about his treehouse or offer advice to other kids building treehouses.
