Catching Aerie

There’s something about a change of seasons that makes us want to shake things up a little. Fall feels like a fresh start. Maybe it’s the cooler weather. Maybe it’s just a good excuse to look around and decide what needs to change.

We’ve got some interesting articles in this issue.

Did you know Sears & Roebuck actually built houses? It’s hard to imagine today, but they were selling homes long before we had today’s big banking system and a crazy housing market.

We take a look at the holidays and what happens when we’re celebrating with older family members. Brenda Parmelee has a nice reminder that it was never really about the size of the tree. It’s about the people sitting around it.

And then there’s the refrigerator. If you live tiny, you know appliances can be a pain. Finding one that fits your space, works the way you need it to, and doesn’t blow the budget isn’t always easy.

That’s part of tiny living. Sometimes the little things turn out to be the big things.

I hope you enjoy this issue.
