At 60, She Downsized to Start Over

Suzanne downsized from 1,700 sq ft to 399 sq ft and made some big changes in her life. Not only did she downsize but she found a life of simplicity and alignment.

Organic farm produce and community

Moving into a smaller home is always a challenge but Suzanne has made the transition easier by finding a community that she loves. Village Farm is a small community located in Austin. It is built around an organic farm. The residents swap homemade meals and also volunteer in shared garden spaces.

Suzanne’s tiny house features high ceilings, a loft and lots of smart storage. Outside it has two porches which make her home seem larger and is a great place to visit with others in the community.

Her kitchen is a special place for her and she has a dishwasher and many builtins to make it her own. Her kitchen even includes a functional pantry. Suzanne’s counter doubles as a dining table and home office.
