An award-winning TV production company is casting for the HOST of a new home-building series for an exciting new television network! We want to meet fresh, untapped talent– someone who has never hosted a major network or cable series before. This person can be male or female and should appear to be 25-45 years old.
Obviously, great energy, enthusiasm and comfort on-camera are a must! We’re especially interested in hearing from contractors, architects, engineers or anyone who speaks that language and can communicate with the build crew in a manner that the audience can understand.

I agree with Debby on the age discrimination element. You need an engaging and energetic host to whom your audience can relate, but that’s not necessarily age-dependent. Also, bear in mind that many folks who are interested in (and/or experienced with) tiny homes may be well into their 50s and 60s… 🙂
I am applying for this. I need this. I don’t want to become America’s next crazy cat lady. Okay, I only have two cats, but hosting a TV show is better than 20 cats.
Are there any inside views or plans for the house shown here?
They are looking for mostly couples and families building tiny homes. I’m single, so my chances aren’t as good to get on the show. I believe there are many single people of all ages wanted to build “tiny”.

Race, sex and age discrimination are peas in the same pod, and alive and well, lurking in dark corners such as this. So sad. And I used to enjoy reading these emails. Now, not quite so much.

i agree, age discrimination, but I’m sure the wording will be changed to make it “PC”…the discrimination is still there.
yes, 50’s and 60’s are downsizing, and could relate to someone that age.
