Our Radical Little Home on Wheels

We don’t wake up to alarms anymore, and we certainly don’t commute to work. We gave up pursuing our degree-related careers and decided to start doing what we love. Travel. We’re only young once and we’re not going to waste it. After adding up how much money we spent on rent each year, we decided something had to change. We wanted to break free from the work/rent cycle and live with less.

In December of 2014 we remodeled a 1983 Toyota RV and hit the road. We’ve been traveling in Campy full-time for 8 months and it’s been the most challenging and rewarding experience of our lives. Waking up in misty forests, or boondocking on a beach, everyday is a new adventure. We want to help others learn about this type of lifestyle so we created the Poorest Tourist. Thanks for sharing our story!
