Tiny House in a Landscape

A tiny home on a tiny island is this week’s Tiny House in a Landscape feature. Norm Thomson took this photo and says that it resides on a tiny island on a small (almost tiny) lake.

As you can see it covers about a third of the island, and the island itself is extremely small. Norm says that I guess you could call this “Tiny House in a Waterscape.”

Thanks for sharing Norm and if you have a photo you would like to submit please send it to tinyhouseblog (at) gmail.com.

  1. the house is too big for the little island. I would have built the cabin in the nearby woods and then built a sleeping platform on stone pillars for; tents, hammocks or a tipi. landscaping with bushes and trees instead of lawn would give me a quiet place to observe nature and the stars.
