I’m interested in building a guest house that’s two stories tall yet with a straight staircase leading to the 2nd floor (I need a ramp that will handle a chair lift). I want a bedroom and bath on the 2nd floor and on the main floor a bedroom that can convert to a study along with a kitchen, dining area & living room. I’m looking for a design that will compliment my 113 year old farmhouse we already have. If it’s designed correctly I don’t see why we can’t accomplish this with around 900 total square feet of living space. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
