A major network and award-winning production company are seeking individuals and families nationwide that are planning on building/moving into a tiny house between March – July 2014. A team of expert builders and designers led by a former Disney Imagineer who has designed projects for countless a-list Hollywood celebrities will create a one-of-a-kind and fully functional layout filled with custom accents and amenities to maximize your tiny space and suit your unique needs while also significantly increasing the value of your property. While we are seeking people who are planning builds for all kinds of tiny homes (cabins, cottages, floating homes, container conversion homes, urban micro homes, etc.), we are extremely interested in anyone who has made progress in any of these departments: blueprints, foundations, zoning and/or building permits, completed well/septic systems or electrical wiring. *** please note, all applicants should have an allotted, available budget and should be planning their build/move-in within the next five months (February – July 2014). Just call the Bumfuzzle people. They have done it for years and have changed their mode of transportation several different time, Now it’s a vintage motor home which is the hottest craze right now.
We went ahead and sent our information for the new house we are building. We are going even smaller with this on. Currently the house we live in is 256 square feet, the new house will be 128 square feet. We are calling it a transition house because it has a specific purpose. There are pictures and more on our website. We will post back here if they call us.

I have been following your site since a couple years now, I love it, I receive your mail everyday and look forward to reading it and specially look at pictures of new tiny houses.
Since then, I have started downsizing, closets, furniture,materials, smaller appartment, i’ve always been a diy’er and even more3 today all the beautiful sites we have on internet. I am a 3 times homeowner, from 7 bedrooms to 3 to a 63 foot trailer home, to 41/2appartment to 31/2, for the past 2 years tried to work with bank and Municipality but since i’m on social aid now because my health does’nt permit me to work anymore they won’t allow me anything and also discourages me from going foward with a couple projects, exept this on, I’m totally off grid and did’nt go to them for anything, I started in october and on december 19 had to come out of my wood lot that I purchased in the woods because the temperature was -40, and my wood stove was’nt effecient enough my water was freezing in the plastic jars. I can’t wait for march to get back at it, I build with pallets and did’nt buy anything, it was all donated from people or stores, I recycled and it helped them get rid off their junk, I have no water, no sewer system, no electricity, and until I can find an air tight stove so I don’t have to feed it every hour on the hour I don’t have heat either, but soon spring will be here and I love the outdoors, took lots of pictures but I can’t fins my camera, it’s probably fell out of my car and i’ll probably find it under the snow. I’m sure there are going to be people looking for their 15 minutes of fame through this type programming but…
If you were to look at the big picture. You wouldn’t participate.
The media moguls are partner with major developing. Their programing as well as political steering lead to the over pricing, artificial inflation, and “flipping” manorisms we see constantly in programing and effecting the average person today since the development boom started in 2000.
This is not good business practice – is not the norm pricing nor is it normal for people to be living in such tiny homes – as much as I like them.
By making it the norm – it just allows for the majority to be price gouged on normal living quarters and square footage.
Pricing in just a couple short years tripled while square footage nearly halved itself for the same pricing.
This being stated in short. I could elaborate but it’s not rocket science to figure out what the media companies who are partnered with many major developing companies and who do dictate and change governments are doing and to see in your own communities the result.
Greed has become king and is common place amongst people that I would have never seen as such in the past decade to an extent of degrading the nations view as a whole as to what is right and what is fair. Especially when it comes to business practices. And more so amongst realestate and transportation sales.
In my years – I’ve never seen it so bad as it is today.
People are weak minded and this has been proven time and time again. The media programmers knows this.
Look at the reality tv shows – look at how they portray the norm, Look at the big picture.
You’ll see at least part of the truth.
And it’s effects if you look around you.
We are very excited about this opportunity!
Persons that may be interested in this need to carefully consider their needs versus the needs of a show producer.
They will want some drama and dire moments and extreme personalities.
That is what sells television productions to a network.
That is not what makes for a already stressful process for a individual or couple or family building on a budget and handling the problems that always arise with the best of planning.
