The world’s largest tiny house event is coming to Arlington, TX!  The Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree is taking place October 27-29 at the Arlington Convention Center and will play host to the latest and greatest in tiny houses, simple living, and sustainability across the nation.     You’ve seen tiny houses on your favorite TV shows – now you can see them in person! In the Outdoor Village, you’ll have the chance to tour a wide variety of designs and structures including moveable tiny houses, bus conversions, van conversions, yurts, and park models. The Jamboree will also feature a DIY Village where personal tiny homes, built by hand, will provide inspiration and a fresh perspective. The DIYers will even be on-hand to share their stories and insight!You can also explore products and services for your home and garden in categories including eco-friendly, solar, home improvement and smart home. While you’re at it, pick up some local Texas goods from our vendor fair area.
  2. Get inspired and hear amazing stories from notable tiny housersThe programming at the Jamboree is a huge weekend highlight. Attendees with common interests will gather together to listen to featured Guests talk about their experiences and even answer your questions! Some panels teach you skills—like building with salvaged materials or cooking in a tiny kitchen. Others include screenings of documentaries and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks.
  3. Have the chance to work with Zack Giffin as he completes a tiny home for a veteran in needZack Giffin, Tiny Home Specialist and co-host of FYI’s TV Show, Tiny House Nation, will be completing work on a tiny house for a veteran in need during the Jamboree. You can immerse yourself in a day of woodworking with the guidance of Zack in this once in a lifetime opportunity.   1. We hope to own wheelchair chair accessible house. Two electric wheelchairs. Full 5 x 5 foot turning radius for entrance, bathroom, fold down or full back showerchair. One level. kitchen microwave low, stove and under leg access for sinks in both kitchen and bathroom. Need Ability to safe tow homes by owner of truck occassional move or to permanent off grid location to be independent . 3000 or less altitude negotiable to 4000.’ Land spacious enough to use wheelchairs and trails. We swim, target practice, fish, play board and card games. PhD entomologist teach or look or teach bugs. MA distance teaching and education. BS Recreation, recreation horticulture therapy. Designed our own solar house using universal design from NCSU. Now Live in Georgetown TX.
