Step Inside A Tiny Home Community: Tour the Tiny Houses and Outdoor Spaces

Have you ever visited a tiny house community? If you are interested in living in one or just curious, you can visit Tiny Estates in Elizabethtown, PA. It is a new tiny house resort community created by Abby Hobson, a young entrepreneur with a passion for experience making. With the help of her team, including on-site manager and tiny dweller, Cody, Abby is creating a beautiful village for those looking to try out tiny living or a place to call home.

Tiny Estate offers daily tours of their community and a selection of their tiny houses rentals. They also now have many long-term parking spots available. For more on the concept development process of this community, read my original post from my visit there this past spring. I am delighted to see that Tiny Estates now has 18 short-term tiny house rentals for guests to choose from. Choose from 130 to 379 square feet. The design and style each tiny house is distinct, from modern to farmhouse chic. Imagine staying in each one to learn what size, layout, and features you like the best. A smart, fun to research the tiny home of your dreams.

Transforming Furniture

The Chairman is swanky 10′ wide tiny house with a spacious kitchen and living area. It features a kitchen island that transforms into a dining room table. The Adventurer is an airy, modern 272 square foot tiny house with a shed roof and roomy loft. The downstairs living space features a Murphy bed that folds down over the couch and coffee table to create a second sleeping area. Fun fact: this tiny house with a big personality is also known the Kevin Hart House, as featured on Booking.com. It was built by the Pennsylvania based builder, Liberation Tiny Homes.

Did you know Liberation Tiny Homes collaborated with Lancaster County (home to Tiny Estates) a tiny house community planning guide for the local municipalities? It very thoroughly presents various zoning and building code classifications that can be used to place tiny houses and embrace them as a viable housing solution.

Living Large and Luxuriously

The Eagle is a charming, modern 285 square foot tiny house. It features a full-size bathtub, perfect for relaxing bubble baths. The Vision is a luxurious 37′ gooseneck tiny house with an open floor plan that goes on for days. For those who aren’t fans of crawling into bed, you will love the full height loft– no ducking required! It was built by the up and coming Roughcut Tiny Homes.

Book a tour or stay in one of Tiny Estates’s 18 tiny houses.

My partner, Christian and I are traveling tiny house dwellers. Together we’ve been on the road three years for our documentary and community education project, Tiny House Expedition. We live, breathe, dream the tiny home community every day. This is our life and our true passion project. We are very grateful to be able to experience this inspiring movement in such an intimate way and to be able to share our exploration with all of you.
