Tiny House in a Landscape

Johnny, one of our readers, sent these photos to me from a recent trip.

Johnny says, “I just returned from a family reunion in rural Nebraska. Here are photos of a honeymoon cottage that was once rented to young newlyweds, now long abandoned to nature. I thought you might appreciate it.”

Thanks Johnny for keeping this feature in mind as you travelled.

  1. I have so much love for my ‘Shack’. Less than 300 sq ft and she (th Shack must b a female!)holds all my hopes and dreams. Not much more than v old wood -and THAT a bit precarious in spots. From Animal Asstd Therapy to my long awaited art studio-I will fence u frm wooden pallets-nevr cuttn a tree-slowly steadily,we shall grow 2gthr…my much beloved rescue animals-so much a part of th fmly-
Th 4 legged ones meanin jus as much as th 2 legged variety. I shall submit photos when u r in ur glory-ur windw boxes brimmin ovr wth sweet honey suckle and nite jasmine….ur trees: lemon, orange, cherry and kumquat bush. And th delectbl gardn of sweet veggies n fruits. Thank U my Higher Power continue to guide me in th care of my dimiutive home and it’s small stable and rescue animal spots. Continue to guide my hands and my heart. Juls n 4 legged fmly.
