The Snoozy is back and better than ever

Anyone interested in fiberglass trailers should be familiar with the Lil Snoozy camper. Its streamlined shape and open floor plan made it a popular choice for lightweight trailer shoppers. Unfortunately, the Lil Snoozy manufacturer went out of business in 2019, leaving buyers in a lurch.

The Snoozy II is a better, brighter version of the Lil Snoozy.

Not to worry, the Snoozy is back. Now known as the Snoozy II, it has kept its aerodynamic shape and comes with a few, new features not found in the original. Built on a galvanized metal frame and updated axle, the Snoozy II has a dry weight of 2,500 lb. The exterior features hatch and tongue storage as well as easier access to the battery.

The rear door makes this trailer unique among fiberglass campers.

The Snoozy II still retains its rear access with options for several sized doors. The living room features a jackknife sofa that transforms into a bed. The sofa can also be used as a dinette. The kitchen features cabinets with red oak, a custom cooktop chosen by the customer, dorm fridge, microwave, and sink.

The kitchen features plenty of counter space and a dorm fridge.

In the front, there is an option for either a queen bed or two twin beds with custom mattresses. The wet bath contains a Thetford cassette toilet that can be accessed from a door in the rear and a Fan-Tastic vent to remove moisture. The Snoozy II also has an option for an outdoor shower.
