Tiny House in a Landscape

This weeks Tiny House in a Landscape feature is a photo taken by Stephen Perry.

Stephen says: I took this picture while staying at Tumalo Lake, near Bend, Oregon. This cabin was on the property and was no longer in use, but with minimal effort, it could be a fine place to live. While the lodge we stayed at was palatial and we wanted for naught, I kept coming back to this cabin wishing this is where we were staying.

Thanks Stephen for sharing this neat cabin and landscape with us.

  1. I totally agree with you Steven, there is just something about the old cabin that takes precidence over the fanciest of the new lodges.

  2. Love the photo, but even more interesting…

I SAW A TINY HOUSE BEING TOWED ON THE FREEWAY TODAY!!!! It was so cool! I’ve never been that up close and personal- whizzing by at 60mph! It was heading south on I-5 near exit 7 around 5:30 pm. I really wanted to know who it was and where they were going. Too bad I was heading north, or I would have tried to snap a picture.
    It was very exciting.

  3. Hmmmm..That’s funny, I saw a Tiny house on I5 this weekend in Oregon. I wonder if it happened to be the same one? I got extremely excited too because I have never been that close to one either. I do live in Portland and they are sprouting up and about here. I need to check some out or at least check out the tiny house hotel that’s here now. Someday I dream to have my own. I would love to look at them to get a feel of it for sure.
