Tiny Mountain Houses Can be Constructed in Four Weeks

You don’t have to be located in the mountains to enjoy living in one of these beautiful tiny houses. Tiny Mountain Houses, originally from Salem, Ore. with showrooms in Chehalis, Wash. and Sacramento, Calif., deliver their tiny houses to all 50 states. The company can also construct their homes in less than four weeks.

Tiny Mountain Houses sells 12 tiny house designs—all named after impressive mountain peaks. Each home is crafted to the owner’s specifications and includes both single level and lofted plans. The homes start at around $35,000 and go up to $62,718 depending on the square footage and amenities. The smallest design is the Mount Everest (an inside joke?) at 255 square feet and the largest is the contemporary Grand Teton at 355 square feet.

Buyers can choose from various designs for cabinets, countertops, wood finishes and options like dishwashers and stacked washers and dryers. Kitchens include stoves and under counter refrigerator/freezers. All the homes have bathrooms, electrical and lighting, gas water heaters, and are prepared for propane connections. Many of the homes already have built in desks and cabinets.
