Show Model Bungalow Sale

Todd Miller is selling his show model Bungalow at a discounted price.

The Tiny House Blog recently did a post on Todd Miller’s Bungalow and you can view the post here. You can also go to his website and read more about Todd and his work.

Todd is offering the Bungalow for $32,000, that is $5,000 off his usual price of $37,000. This offer is available for this cottage only. The Bungalow will include what is shown in these photos plus:

  • Wood ladder to loft
  • All cabinet doors and drawers
  • Finished plumbing w/hot water tank
  • 50amp/4wire extension cord

Here is what Brenda, a recent visitor wrote to me about Todd and his Bungalow:

I drove to Cottage Grove, Oregon to meet Todd Miller and
tour his model home. Wow! It’s absolutely beautiful. The quality of
construction is the best of the best. It’s structurally engineered to
withstand just about any disaster thrown at it. I have never seen
anyone think the structural aspect of the home through so thoroughly.

He’s so passionate about his work. He talked and shared for almost
four hours. As an architect he’s an absolute wealth of knowledge, yet
his knowledge is practical as he has the actual hands on experience in
all areas of construction. He was able to think through all the
various ways of doing things sharing the pros and cons of each. He has
the structural expertise and connections with various agencies that
will help drive this small home movement. I was impressed in his
ability to always steer the conversation to the positive, looking at
possibilities instead of hurdles.

This may be just the tiny house you have been looking for and the price certainly can’t be beat. Contact Todd Miller if you are interested by visiting his site’s contact page here.

P.S. Please tell Todd you heard about the sale from the Tiny House Blog. Just added floor plan today 3/22/09.

Are these pictures from 2 different houses? The front door/kitchen seem different.

Hi EJ – It is the same house. The kitchen is on both sides, sink on one side, burner’s etc. on the other. I was a little confused at first also. I’ll can see if Todd has a floor plan to show us…Kent

Hi Gus – I’ll pass your question on to Todd and you can contact him at the site listed above. I don’t know that he sells his plans at this point but he might be open to the idea if you talk to him…Kent

Gus, Thanks for your kind comments and yes I am willing to sell plans and share equipment/fixture cut sheets. I have been getting more requests recently and think it is time to put together a set of construction drawings for publication.

PS I have completed the Cottage Show model by adding a hinged ladder with a sliding track and installed all the cabinet doors and drawers. The Cottage has a pending sale and I hope to be sending it to it’s new home in a week. It looks great. I will be updating my website shortly so please pay me a web visit in a week or so for the latest photos.

Hypothetically if you’ve long-term parked this thing out in no man’s land. How does one go about washing their laundry in a house this small?
