Rewild Homes is a Canadian company that builds custom tiny homes on Vancouver Island. This is their most recently completed build, featuring a drop down deck, reclaimed 100-year-old barn wood floors, custom built feature windows, environmentally friendly non off-gassing stains and varnishes, and black walnut slab countertop with a live edge to die for.
Rewild Homes was started to fill a niche and support a movement of living simply, using less, and doing more. Our compact, high-quality, portable cabins are built on Vancouver Island using locally sourced materials. We are simple, sustainable, and specialized.
Living in a smaller house is the biggest single step you can take to change your life. With fewer bills, less space to fill (and clean), and the freedom to go anywhere, home is anywhere you want it to be.

Love, love, love the walnut slab counter top. Gorgeous! Also the storage stairs leading to the loft. Is there an eating or relaxing area?
Hi Sharon. I am one of the owners of Rewild Homes. By the front door there is a bench seat that will have custom built cushions (the clients are doing that themselves) and there is a drop down table attached to the wall that sets down in front of the bench to make an eating/hang out/work area. Thanks for your question!
This looks fantastic. The materials and the craftsmanship show that time was taken and carefully though out. Well done!
Love these tiny houses. Enjoy watching them on tv as well…..just one question…how do they get Electric, water and sewage when they are parked in the middle of a pasture? We are really curious when we see one built on a wheeled frame and then it gets located in a remote area.
