My children have more than 3 acres. We’ve checked with city and a tiny house would be approved! I could retire!
Fill that sucker up with books and leave NYC!
If I only had a little house…….I would live out the rest of my days in peace and harmony.
If I only had a place to call home. I lost my house in the recession. I would love to live in a small place I could call my own.
I would live simply, intentionally, and living tiny would open up freedom of time and money. My focus would be on art photography and natural living. My now 4 yr old son will be learning by what I do and not by what I say…. I would be better able to empower people to live sustainably and within their means when I am leading by example. I will be seeing “hOMe” in August at the Tiny House Jamboree! I plan on building whether or not I win the plans! Love this tiny home and I look forward to touring it ? Shawno
Have always wanted to be a full time RV’r and love the tiny house plans. I’m 72 and live in an old mobile home now and want nothing more than to build a tiny house and be able to travel. Have some ideas on floor plans but not sure how to put some things together.
My kids are grown, and I really would love to live it tiny. Just me and my baby, (dog), no worries, no running after kids, just the peace and quiet of the country side. A place large enough for 2 people, and no more. (one person and a dog) Its a dream, but aren’t we allowed to dream?
Amazing tiny home! I am in love with tiny homes especially modern, minimalist looking ones. If i had a set of plans i would build the most beautiful, life sustaining home and give it to some wonderful folks who are homeless. The joy in building this home would fill me with love and great compassion. I love to build and am devoted to helping others. I am so fortunate to have a home and so i wish to help another living being or two or three have a home of their own.
love and light, Virya
I’ve been patiently saving for a tiny house for the last 8 years out of my meagre pension. Almost there. Besides being a home it would also be a wonderful experience to build with my two sons. Hopefully they’ll have the money for the piece of land saved soon and we can all have a place for a family tiny house compound.
I moved to Colorado about 2 1/2 yrs ago to live my second life. (Over 40) I will build my Tiny house, grow my veggies, get my eggs from my chicks and milk my goats waiting around for my “not yet made” grandchildren to come and hang out… you are also welcome to come and eat…
if was to have the honor of winning a the blueprints, I’d of course focus on my build! The reality is the tiny house movement isn’t for everyone. I’m not going tinted and force feed my views, beliefs, environmental desires down anyone throat. With that being said i would like to bring the movement to my area or Florida. I’d like for people to see that there are other options to living a different life out there. We don’t have to be slaves to our possessions. The tiny house concept can have a father utilitarian use with in our society locally as well as globally. We have all seen the good that many have done for the homeless, those who have been hit by hard times, those trying to start a new. In one who desires to live and be free. Myself I enjoy and support the concept of smaller living, environmental concerns, the ability to be a nomad and wonder, explore, and experience this world. A place like this give opportunity to homestead and travel our vast continents north to south. But that’s just me. Good luck everyone and thanks for the opportunity to live the dream.!
Ever sence I saw A tiny home I’ve wanted one. I want to travel to every state in this country. Its beautiful and I haven’t seen any of it. I have a plan to start in Ca. And go up and down the country to hit every single state. I want to end up in Maine. But then still continue to travel with my wonderful, marvelous, outstanding, loving home. That’s what I would do with my tiny home. Please, please pick me. I have the hitch on my car. :). ;).
I am a retired teacher and I am ready to depart with most of my stuff and scale down my living space. I have a lot on my family’s farm and I am ready to go home to the farm.
I’ll trade my ruby slippers for a tiny house and these plans would help get me back home!
It’s been a dream of mine for a long time to build a tiny house retirement community. This would be affordable living for independent living seniors.
If I were the lucky person to win the Morrison’s hOMe Plans, I would send the plans to the reservation at Pine Ridge, SD. Also, I would do some fund raising to help it be built. I visit Pine Ridge on occasion and have seen the conditions of people who have several generations living in a very small space due to the housing shortage there. Thank you for the opportunity to enter.
my husband and I lost our home three years ago and we have 2 acres of land but the county keeps changing the restrictions and this is the only way we will ever be able to move back on our property…..we are living in a 12 x 12 room in a relative’s home….we are in our 60’s and need a place of our own again…..
