The team at Port Townsend School of Woodworking is excited to be offering our first Tiny Homes class this Spring, and we wanted to share it with you!
The aim of the month long class is for students to develop the skills to efficiently build a tiny home with sustainable materials. We’ll cover: construction of the basic structure, framing, cladding, roofing, installation of windows and doors.
Students will learn to use hand tools (in addition to power tools) for construction and joinery, to support those interested in building off the grid. The class will be limited to 8 students.
We are really looking forward to bringing our instructors’ craftsmanship and traditional techniques to a modern tiny home.
