This May 25-26, 2013 Dan Louche and I are hosting a Tiny Home Builders workshop in Alpharetta, Georgia.
This location is about 30 minutes north of Atlanta so it’s easy to get to from anywhere.
It’s a lecture and hands-on experience led by Dan Louche and myself. We’ve already reserved space in a warehouse for this event so that participants will get to:

If you’re not familiar with Dan Louche’s work, he is the author of the Tiny House Construction Guide, creator of the How to Build a Tiny House Video Series, designer of his own set of plans with materials list and founder of Tiny Home Builders.
I’ve attended two full workshops but they’ve never had a tiny house for us to see. I live in Roswell. Can I just come see the tiny house you’ve built?
I am thinking that it is good to plan what siding you will be using, then to plan window trim and corners to be of a greater thickness- the ends of the lap siding are exposed to the weather at the lowest corners, and thus almost impossible to seal or protect correctly. I imagine, from this and many other details, that this is a first effort, and can be excused.
I think the dormers are ingenious!! They look cool too… like small wings!!
