WHAT HAPPENED IN KANSAS CITY?
October 23, 2016: A group of tiny house advocates presented an Appendix to the International Code Council that, if adopted, would incorporate tiny houses into the International Residential Code (IRC). They were successful at Phase 1, which means the Tiny House Appendix now needs a 2/3 majority vote of all ICC voting members to officially be incorporated into the next IRC in Phase 2.
