Pre-fab ADUs from Wolf Industries Built with Wildfires in Mind

More people are not only considering living in a tiny home or small house but maybe using one as elder housing or an income-producing backyard cottage. This is where an ADU or accessory dwelling unit comes in handy.

Wolf Industries builds and delivers prefab small ADUs.

The ADU building process is not without its complications, but there is one company that is coming up with solutions. Wolf Industries designs, builds, delivers, and installs prefabricated tiny homes to the western states. In addition, the company works on permitting which can be a hassle for anyone not used to the process.

Their homes range from 300 to 616 square feet.

Wolf Industries designs several models that range from 300 square feet to 615 square feet. Each of the homes are solid wood homes built on a permanent foundation. Each home is scaleable and actually quite affordable for everything that is included. The prices for the models range from about $60,000 to $88,000.

The homes are placed on foundations which Wolf permits and constructs.

Because the company is located in the Pacific Northwest, the homes use materials that withstand more extreme weather and wildfires. The company uses metal roofing, HardiPlank siding, and fiberglass doors on the exterior. In addition, each of the homes are inspected with the same parameters as traditional homes.

The interiors can be customized for each customer.

Interior layouts can be customized to a point. Most of the layouts feature a single level with at least one bedroom. The larger model, Model E, has two bedrooms with one that fits a King-sized bed. Bathrooms can include full-sized showers and tubs as well as standard toilets.

The homes include main floor bedrooms and full bathrooms.

Wolf Industries has a great YouTube channel with full tours of their models as well as FAQ videos on the design and building process.
