I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you all have a great holiday! It has been a good year with the idea of tiny houses growing in the general public eyes, as the year progressed. It is great to see more people learning about the tiny house lifestyle. Along with all the publicity comes other issues that will need to be discussed and worked through.
I will be taking the next couple of days off to spend with my family. So check back Monday for a new post and if you choose go visit the archives by clicking on the Categories below the newsletter signup form.

Merry Dogmas and Yappy New Year to all.
Thanks Kent for this great blog filled with so many tiny home ideas and tons of information that has inspired me.
I have been interested in tiny & alternative homes for many years. Since I first stepped foot in a tiny straw bale home at the Sacramento State fair over 25 yrs ago I knew I wanted a tiny home of my very own. After quite some time of following the little/tiny house movement and watching the prices & styles of tiny homes over the years I found one here on your blog that I loved. I bought the Annemarie model tiny home by Scott Steward when he ran the special price back in Nov. It is being built in Arkansas and then it will be transported to WA state. The quality and price seemed like a fantastic deal for me, as I have zero interest in building one myself. Scott will most likely start building it in Jan. I am in no hurry but I am excited about it. Scott is going to customize it for me. He is wonderful to work with and that makes all the difference in world. I already sent him a refrigerator, granite sink for the kitchen and a cool bathroom sink. I am having the interior layout built differently than the one shown in this blog. It is going to be my girl cave and I plan to girlify it upon arrival. I already went and bought a shower curtain, bedding, a mirror, and new dishes for the tiny home. I have a can of white paint ready to paint the inside the day it arrives.
I am considering starting a blog so people that are interested can read more and follow the blog. I just have to figure out how to do it.
Anyway.. I am looking forward to putting up a very tiny Christmas tree in my new tiny home next Christmas. If not for this blog I would of missed out on a wonderful tiny home. Thanks for helping me make my dream come true.
Tonita, – soon to be hanging out in my girl cave.
Merry Christmas. Concerning the RetroTrailer.I just go an email back from the company:: Thanks for the email, but we no longer build the Retro Traveler trailers.
Happy Holidays.
Eric
The company is located in Beaufort S.C.seems to manly do restorations at this time. This was my first visit to your blog and really enjoyed it.
Thanks for the information Joe. That’s a shame. I really loved their design and thought that they filled a niche that no other trailer company did.
Seasons greetings! Thanks again for all your hard work in putting this site together. I’ve subscribed to the RRS feed, and am always delighted when there’s a new post.
All the best this coming year!
