Jorgensen 12 X 24 Rustic Cabin

Scott Stewart is a busy builder if you hadn’t noticed and he keeps sending me these cool projects he is working on. This one he just finished and delivered to an off-grid setting.

It is a 12 foot wide 24 long rustic cabin with rustic pine lap siding. Fully insulated and finished with pine tongue and groove beaded car siding, has hardwood laminate flooring. It also has a 6 foot by 12 foot loft. It was a custom plan for Jorgensen and is placed off-grid. No plumbing or electrical was installed.

Scott says if anyone is interested he would sell you one for $9,500 picked up in his yard. If you live far away you would need to work with Scott on delivery. If you are interested call Scott at 870-213-5310 or eamil him ozarksbest@yahoo.com and Scott is located in Mountain View, Arkansas. Be sure and tell him you heard about it here.

  1. smaller is more beautiful is a concept that becomes more and more attractive as I get older. this cottage is really appealing. I can almost imagine living in a similar space. Just give me another year or two.

  2. I’m 51 and live in my chevy van most of the year, then rent a room at a friend’s over winter. Assuming these are winterized and can be put on a trailer, I can imagine living in this now. I have reduced my possessions down over the years and can say that I use everything I own… it feels wonderful! Keep it up Scott small homes are getting ever so popular world wide.

  3. Rock on Scott!! Im 40 yrs old and live in Nashville. I hope thats within 300 miles because I love these. We live in te warehouse our recording studio is in, and our utilities are so outrageous its killing us to keep up with them. We could put this in our side yard and all would be golden. Keep em coming! holly

  4. I would be interested to find out more about options that are in the house, if it is an all season, and if it is constructed so that although I may currently only want one that I could have an addition made to connect. Live near Linn Valley, KS
