Little Guy Max is Next Step in Luxury Camping

The world of the teardrop trailer has seen a range of new changes in the past year. With the split of Pleasant Valley Teardrops and Little Guy Worldwide and the creation of Liberty Outdoors, many fans of the T@B and other lightweight campers wonder what will come next.

The Little Guy Max is the latest design from Little Guy Worldwide.

Well, “next” is the exciting Little Guy Max. This 21 foot long trailer has upgraded the larger teardrop to a little bit of luxury. First of all, the Max is built on a sturdy tubular steel frame (like many off-road trailers) and is powder coated. The aluminum frame is covered with Azdel paneling and insulated with block foam. Within this design the impressive windows let in lots of light and views.

The interior features a kitchen, separate bed, dining table for two and wetbath.

The Max is not like its predecessor, the T@B, in that it has a lot more headroom. Its ceiling height is 6’7” and the wet bath can fit someone up to 6’2”. It is a bit heftier at 3,140 lb. dry weight, but it can hold up to 20 gallons of fresh water, 14 gallons of gray water and nine gallons of black water.

Windows at the front and rear let in plenty of light.

The dining table converts into a twin bed and the TV rises up out of the sideboard.

The interior features are similar to the T@B 400, but kicked up a notch. The kitchen has a stainless steel sink with a residential style faucet with sprayer, a two burner stove with glass top, stainless steel refrigerator and a six gallon Dometic hot water heater. The kitchen also has a pantry and plenty of storage drawers.

The Max features plenty of pantry and drawer storage space.

The Max also has LED lighting, a 13,500 BTU air conditioner, and a Furrion stereo and TV that’s hidden inside the front dinette. In addition, the camper has a wet bath, a queen bed and the dinette converts into a twin bed. Like other Little Guy Worldwide products, options can also be added. These include solar panels, a bike rack, power jack and customized cabinetry.

The wetbath has a three function sprayer and a marine toilet.

Janine Pettit of the Girl Camper Podcast recently took the Max out for a four week tour through several western National Parks. You can read her review of the Max here and listen to her interview with Joe Kicos, the co-owner of Liberty Outdoors.

The base price for the Little Guy MAX is $29,999.
