Is everything really bigger in Texas, or just made for maximum comfort? This adage can be used for the tiny homes built by Indigo River Tiny Homes in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Indigo River Tiny Homes in Texas builds tiny homes with major space.
Indigo River Tiny Homes is a veteran-owned company with over 30 years of combined construction and home-improvement experience. They strive to not only build environmentally conscious homes, but also make them just as livable as traditional homes.
The company is owned by, staffed by, and donates proceeds to veterans.
The company has five different models to choose from, but they also build custom homes for clients. All the models are built for towing and some models, such as the Homesteader, feature their signature Stand-up Lofts. Having extra headroom in a loft is easier for making loft beds and appealing to taller tiny home owners. Other designs, such as the Casita Azulita, also feature downstairs bedrooms as well as sleeping lofts.
Some of the models downstairs feature bedrooms and stand-up lofts.
All of the IRTH models include a long list of standard features. These include energy efficient vinyl windows, metal roofs, exterior storage closets, mini-split heating and AC units, ceiling fans and standard RV connections for water, sewer and electricity. Other interesting details include curved staircases, unusual storage options, and glass sliders.
Custom colors, materials, and details can be requested.
Pricing for each home will depend on the model and any additions, but the IRTH website features a great interactive design-your-own home page where you can choose floor plans and upgrades. In addition, Indigo does offer financing through three loan companies.
