Lakeside Park Models by Clayton Homes Arriving at Tiny House Communities

Clayton has been building homes for over six decades. While their models have focused on the traditional home, their new Lakeside Tiny Collection park models are just beginning to tap into the smaller living and recreational outdoor experience.

Clayton, a traditional home building company, now offers models under 400 square feet.

The Lakeside Tiny Collection has seven models to choose from. The Alexander is 399 square feet and includes a main floor bedroom, bunk beds, front porch and stylish appliances. The 398 square foot Berry has an open floor plan with a queen sleeping and bathing area downstairs and a small loft. The Seabreeze is 396 square feet and has a staircase and a king sized main floor bedroom. The contemporary Collins is also 396 square feet and has a galley kitchen, two porches and large windows. The Woodland, the Delta and the Seashore are the other models and all have lofts and full appliances.

The Alexander is a nice mix of park model and tiny house.

Each model can be customized with different wood cabinets, Formica or quartz countertops, carpet, laminate or hardwood flooring, HardiePlank lap siding, and various paint colors. Other options include dishwashers, lighting, ovens and ranges, showers and combo or stacked washers and dryers.

The Lakeside park models are brand new, but are already being offered as the tiny house options for the new River Rocks Plantation near Huntsville, Alabama. This tiny house community located on a lake will include a gated entrance, walking trails and private parking.

The Lakeside also features the Collins, Seabreeze and Seashore models.

The Lakeside models can also be purchased through Compact Cottages, a North Carolina based company that has been featured on HGTV’s Tiny House Hunters. The homes range from $50,000 to $80,000 depending on size and amenities.
