After a LOT of hard work behind the scenes the past several months, I am so excited to finally announce the book that I wrote with my partner Chrisitan is coming out soon, The Beginner’s Guide to Tiny Houses! If you know us, you know we are proud tiny home movement nerds, and this book is a new wonderful way to share our passion with the world.
Not familiar with us? Here’s a brief introduction: We are Tiny House Expedition cofounders, a traveling documentary and community education project. After falling in love, we built our cozy 130-square-foot tiny house on wheels with the help of friends and family in North Carolina. Then, in 2015, we hit the road on an epic trip across North America to explore the tiny home movement—the diverse people, the pioneering culture, and the community experience. What we initially thought would be a one-year trip became a lasting nomadic lifestyle and a career dedicated to passionately sharing resources, events, and inspiring tiny-home stories with the world.
Our favorite part of writing The Beginner’s Guide to Tiny Houses book was reflecting on our incredible experiences as part of the movement over the last many years. The fact is our lives are forever made better by what we’ve learned and the people we’ve met along the way. And we hope you love the reading about the insights we’ve learned too.
