Lil Blue

Tucked into a breezy corner of a family farm in Elkhart, Iowa, sits a quaint, 160 sq.ft. tiny house on wheels, aptly named Lil Blue. Owned by Jordan and Sarah Plummer, the house is 8’ wide X 20’ long with an additional sleeping loft measuring 8’ X 8’. Built with a French slope (or shed roof), the space certainly feels larger than it is, and the interior has an artistic quality largely unseen in the tiny house world.

The couple entered into the modern tiny house movement in an effort to lower their monthly overhead, pay back students loans, pursue a more natural and sustainable lifestyle, have a smaller carbon footprint, and challenge themselves to live with less.
