Tiny House in a Landscape

This week’s Tiny House in a Landscape comes to us from the little country of Ireland. I had the privilege of visiting Ireland last summer and it is one of the greenest places I have ever seen.

Known as the Irish Vernacular this home was built in the traditional style of the area. The website gives you information for inspiration to build your own tiny/small home. This one was built for 25,000 euros and took around fifty days to build. Built with the help of friends, family, and neighbors and some professional help as well. Check out interior photos and construction photos at their website: http://www.irishvernacular.com/

  1. Interesting construction on that place. Love the way the stairs go to the upper area. The frames are kind of post and beam but using smaller lumber to build them up instead of big solid pieces. Some good ideas.

  2. Hello! Good Night. My name is Juan Carlos, I am a Venezuelan person. I like your house. It’s beautiful and very easy to built, I believe, ( if you have many friends ). I have a wood cabin in the beach, and I’d like to do a similar house like your. In my country is very difficult, because the builders do not done houses using woods, our traditional elements are the concret and bars.
How can I get more information, to built a house like that? Can you give me advice?
Have you my regards and Thank you.
    Attentively
    Juan Carlos
