Swedish Mobile Hunting Cabin

by Kent Griswold on September 23rd, 2009. 9 Comments

Alex from Sweden at EcoHouseFilm sent me a mobile hunting cabin that is for sale if you are in his neck of the woods. If you’re far away like I am, it is nice for tiny house idea generation.

I like the simplicity of the design, the basic porch that gives you some protection as you enter the house. The cottage has a simple  and usable living area, a bedroom and kitchenette. It has a small heater that keeps it comfortably warm.

To view the listing go here, I used the google translator to interpret the posting.

What a coincidence! I just posted a shipping container my husband wants to use for a hunting cabin. I was less than complimentary of it, but Hubby liked it because it has a “covered porch”, window, a/c, and best of all, the outer doors can be closed and locked when no one is there, securing everything inside. But he will like yours because it shows a finished interior. Thank you for posting this.

Only about $7000 and it’s ready to roll. It’s has a RV hookup for electricity. I want it…

    “You’re” not “your.” You’re=you are.

  4. I like the theme/template of your site it looks great. Can you tell me where to get it and if you modified it at all?

Hi Rosemarie, The theme is Basic Simplicity by Michael Janzen, you can get to it by clicking the link at the bottom of the page or use this link: http://www.michaeljanzen.com/wordpress-theme/

I modified it only by changing the header banner and the menu colors, which is very easy to do. It’s a great theme, that is easy to read and shows off pictures too…Kent
