Just Park It – Fun Times in Florida!

As some of you know from last week, The Try It Tiny team has been traveling and meeting our hosts! We are so fortunate to be able to stay with so many great people. We made our way over from Texas through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama to Florida. We will be at the Florida Tiny House Festival in St. Augustine area from Nov. 17 – 19. Let us know if you’re around! Below are a few of the awesome spots we have been. Check out more Florida listings at Try It Tiny!

Meet Pam and James In Alachua, FL

Pam and James have a great spot with their own private lake. They can teach anyone about aquaponics or growing roses organically! You can watch the egrets and the black-bellied whistler ducks play in the water from your tiny house. They can offer electricity and water with a future outdoor shower. Check out the local springs!

Meet Luann and Greg in Ocala, FL
https://www.tryittiny.com/properties/127
These two are an awesome duo and are no strangers to hosting travelers. They love to share stories and welcome anyone. They have 3 acres of flat, easy parking with full hookups and multiple spots in Ocala; the equestrian capital of the U.S. Easy distance to either coast, Daytona, and Gainesville. You have to see the inside of their vintage Airstream campers!

Meet Maureen in Lake Butler, FL
https://www.tryittiny.com/properties/71

Goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, a fish pond and a couple of horses tucked in fenced pastures with mature oak and cedar hedgerows. Easy access to water and electric. With over 10 acres on their farm, they are open to having your animals, as well. 30 minutes to Gainesville city limits, but only two minutes to the Santa Fe River. Don’t miss her vintage yellow 5th wheel!
