Wired with a 30 amp panel and 12-2 steel jacketed romex, there are 5 grounded outlets and switched track lighting and front porch light. The electrical service meets or exceeds code for new home construction and requires only a standard heavy duty extension cord for power. It’s just that there are already a ton of options for all those other things. We don’t really need any more.
On an unrelated note, I’m not entirely sure it would qualify as self sufficient if you use holding tanks. I have some posts up on my blog, trying to work out a water recycling system…
Is it me, or does $9600 seem a bit steep for something that is unfinished?
The cieling is to low to put a loft in, and I just dont see how you fit every thing into one of these with out a loft.
Checked out a travel trailer lately? In general, they’re not in possession of a loft either, They’re just not built as well. Ceilings are pretty darn low in those too.
