This article says the Astro series can withstand winds exceeding 130 mph, but the website says up to 180 mph winds. Which one is it? I live in tornado alley US, so this really matters. Also, how much blunt force can these withstand? In our neck of the woods, we get almost every type of extreme weather conditions, so this information really matters. I wish this company would let me live in an Astro series dome for a year ( in tornado alley) and report regularly on Youtube what the experience is like. I would love to put one ( or 2) of these on a small piece of land next to a small city and call it home, but they have got to be able to withstand extreme weather conditions. By that I mean: high winds, up to softball size hail ( yeah, we’ve gotten that a couple of times in 2025), straight line winds, extended periods of hot dry temps and below zero temps., heavy rain and snow. I don’t expect these domes to be able to withstand an F4 or F5 tornado, but if they say they can withstand up to 180 mph winds, I would seriously consider a purchase. Cheers!
I would say that they have made it stronger. Their website should be correct, and I will update this post as it has changed..
