Not all tiny houses need to be homes for people. Some of them are homes for tools. This one just happens to be in a Tudor style and made from scrap wood.
Joshua Alexander is an artist living in Alberta, Canada. Going under the Instagram handle usihtat (“maker” in the Cree language), Joshua is a man of all trades. He paints, sculpts, designs, works on vehicles, and collects scrap materials for a myriad of other projects.
Joshua Alexander, an artist from Alberta, built a Tudor-style tool shed from scrap wood.

Many of these materials come from cleanouts of homes that he does with his friend Alex Archbold of Curiosity Incorporated, another maker and picker from Alberta. Archbold has become a sensation on YouTube for his hoarder house cleanouts and his uncanny ability to find amazing old items and give back to his community.
Joshua can make art out of everyday objects.

Joshua has been able to take his artistry skills to a new level. He turns kitchen implements into sculptural birds and scrap wood into beautiful cutting boards. One of his latest works is a two-story tool shed to hold old Ford parts for his various trucks.
The house doesn’t just stop at storing tools. It actually looks like a Tudor house with a straw roof, traditional trim, and bits and bobs like a found weathervane. The house also has a loft and plenty of storage for parts.
Watch Joshua’s YouTube video on the build and what he plans to do with it in the future.
