Tiny Home Frame Kits from Home Depot

One of the largest home improvement stores in the U.S. has also gone tiny. Home Depot sells and delivers tiny home frame kits directly from its website. These homes are also an affordable way to get a head start on a tiny house.

The tiny homes by Home Depot come as pre-assembled steel panels.

The homes range in size from 150 square feet to nearly 500 square feet. The frames are made from steel and come as pre-assembled steel panels that are architecturally designed and approved by professional engineers.

The homes can be installed on any foundation.

Steel framing is termite- and fire-proof. It is also durable and corrosion-resistant and can also be recycled. The Home Depot steel frames also come with the brackets and fittings necessary to construct onto any cement foundation. The frames do not come with doors, windows, electrical or plumbing fixtures, or other finishing materials.

The floor plans range from tiny studios to multi-bedroom homes.

Each of the available designs has a range of floor plans and styles. The 150-square-foot Huntington Plus house has clerestory windows and a light, open space for just under $13,000. The 366-square-foot Sea Breeze has one bedroom and a full bath for around $23,500.

The price of each home includes delivery.
