Scott Stewart of Slabtown Customs in Arkansas built a unique Christmas gift for his two daughters. Scott says it was a very quick build done just before Christmas for my girls, we built it in a couple of days, it’s a 12×12 and looks like a square, the roof is a lean to style and slopes to the back but the sides go above the roof line, it is fully insulated and was painted to look like a large Lego building as it was built to set up a Lego city and railroad, much like any model railroad set up only this is all Lego, we are still putting items together.
As you can imagine it was quite a chore painting this building.
Since it too was a present and kept hidden I wrapped it up with contractors paper, before we wrapped it I tied two lengths of twine, one on each side of the front door, had the twine tied to a stick and draped back down the front so when it came time to “open” it up each of my daughters were able to pull on her string and rip the paper open.
