A family reuniting using shipping container conversions.
High school sweethearts, Ron and Deb who grew up in Pennsylvania have found the joy of being grandparents their new love.
Their grownup daughter and her family recently moved to Alabama. Daily visits turned into monthly visits. The joy of living around the corner turned into 13-hour drives.
A lakeside property in Alabama came on the market. Deb said this was the opportunity to turn their retirement into special weekends at the lake with the grandchildren.
Initially, they tried living in their motorhome. However, extreme weather soon took the fun out of it. It is no fun to be in a wind-rocked motorhome.
Alabama Tiny Homes stepped in and helped make Deb and Ron’s dream come true. By converting shipping containers into a tiny home on the lakefront.
A safe and cozy space for them to live and enjoy the grandchildren at the same time.
