The Los Angeles wildfires have been devastating to entire communities. Not only have the fires destroyed thousands of homes, but it could take years to rebuild.
The destruction has left many people homeless, without insurance, and re-thinking what it means to actually have a home. People are also wondering where they should move to next, if they even want to buy another home at all.
If these disasters continue, in the future, is it best to be mobile?
Would it better to live in something like a tiny home, camper or trailer? When the next disaster hits, is it easier to be able to pack up your tiny house and take it somewhere safer? What exactly is a safe place these days?
Of course, this decision is up to the individual and their personal circumstances, but it is something to think about.
Living a more mobile lifestyle has its pros and cons. However, when you think about the future of disasters, there are a few benefits:

In a tiny space there is no room for excess items, so clutter needs to be kept to a minimum. Less clutter also means less stress.
4. Comfort and safety within reach
When you are mobile, you have all your comforts and your safe space with you all the time.
5. The ability to help others
Without being tied down to a traditional home, you will have the time and energy to help neighbors and other disaster victims.
