I wanted to let you and your readers know that we are opening our home to the public for the first time on May 17, 2014 when we join four other tiny homes to create the Tiny Houses of Floyd, Virginia Tour. We will all convene at the Floyd Country Store after the tour for a screening of the movie TINY: A story about living small.
The tiny house tour is a fundraiser for Sustain Floyd, a local non-profit working to leverage and preserve traditional strengths in agriculture and craftsmanship to help build a resilient local economy. We are delighted to share our home with tiny house enthusiasts and glad to do so while helping a worthy cause.
This event is sure to be a great opportunity for folks to get ideas and meet tiny house dwellers and enthusiasts all while enjoying the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Tickets are limited and will be available on the Sustain Floyd website starting May 1st.
I’ve created a Facebook event here.
Thanks!
