My husband and I are hungarian and it was my dream to get married in a yurt. After having no luck finding campgrounds in our area that could also host our event, we ended up renting one from http://www.tradersoftamerlane.com and having it delivered right to us. His grandmother in particular was taken aback that we found a company that rented yurts in the northeast, as she grew up in a yurt in the early part of her childhood.

I rented a yurt from Oregon Parks over the winter to do some cross-country skiing. Very enjoyable. Oregon Parks also has small rustic cabins and even teppees that can be rented and enjoyed.
