Tammy On Life in 128 Square Feet and Beyond

My friend Tammy just got a special feature in a cool magazine and I wanted to share her original post with you. Enjoy!

In June, an editor at Taproot Magazine asked me to write an essay about our tiny house experience for their readers. I was honored to be asked because I love Taproot’s work. The magazine “celebrates farm, food, family and craft through writing, photography and the arts, both fine and domestic.” Plus, the print magazine is independent, quarterly, and ad-free.

I’m excited that my words and photos are featured in Taproot’s SHELTER edition. I struggled to write my essay—Life in 128 Square Feet & Beyond—but I did it, and I’m proud of my work. Sometimes writing is challenging, but the effort is worth it.

You can order the SHELTER edition online or find it in bookstores. Also, you can look inside the magazine pages here.

If you celebrate the upcoming holiday, I hope it’s filled with good conversation, good food, laughter, and a warm and cozy home.

With gratitude,
Tammy
