This weeks Tiny House in a Landscape is a blast from the past. Called the “Weekender,” this cute little house was found on one of the few tiny house websites I could find back in 2007. Unfortunately, the website is no longer up and I don’t have interior photos.
You can view a floor plan here.
It is amazing how times have changed in those seven years. Back in 2007 it was almost impossible to find tiny houses and now they are all over the country. Enjoy!
Here is the floorplan to this house http://wkcdrafting.wikispaces.com/file/view/Weekender_floorplan_view.pdf/146018397/Weekender_floorplan_view.pdf
Thanks for the link to the PDF. It’s a great little house!
I really want to see the inside of this little house and cost and all. Can you send to tp me or something
No sleeping area on the floor plan- I wonder if it had a sleeping loft, or if it was a hide-a-bed situation?
Cute house and nice plan. I’d have to have a bit more room but overall, this is very nice. I think something the size of a large 2 car garage on a foundation with a basement would work for me. We have tornadoes here and it’d be nice to have someplace to shelter in major storms. Love small house living concept; one day, maybe I’ll get to experience the reality.
I like the floor plan , I lived in a 128sq FT studio for 6 years with my son and it was put together so badly it was always cramped feeling . The floor plan of the weekender IMHO would have worked better and in the future with an empty nest makes sense for me.
Thank you for sharing your plan
I like 1. the solid foundation, 2. the decks and 3. the hillside.
I wonder at the replies that mention “floor plans.” I must be getting incomplete messages as all I saw other than the lovely outside picture was mention that there were no interior pictures. If anyone could clue me in I’d appreciate it.
There is a link in the first comment above.
I like this little house. Lots of possibilities.
Kent I remember this site and the house itself. I believe it called for a sofa bed for sleeping or sleeping bags and cots. it was a long time ago to remember the details just remember the beauty of the house.
