Tiny House in a Landscape

This tiny house with a view sits perched above the Millican Valley, about 15 miles east of Bend, Oregon. Although boarded up, it looks to be in good condition and needs just a few finishing touches to make it cozy. To the left is the end of a short fence sheltering the house from view of the ‘main’ dirt road off Highway 20, less than a mile away.

Thank you Kathy Gault from Bend, Oregon for spotting this tiny home and sharing it with us.

  1. Well, I knew it was dry country around there but that’s still one heck of a vista. Must get some pretty fierce winds through there.

  2. I used to live in this area. The climate is extreme. Very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter and dry all year round. I would be surprised if there is water at this cabin. It is beautiful if you like the high desert climate.

  3. What a beautiful view. It’s scary thinking about being that far away from everyone, and yet I think I’d feel more secure here because you should be able to see or hear anything coming your way from a great distance. I was also wondering about the water.
