Yes the crystal river mill, this is the most photographed building in colorado, this entire area around here is one of my favorite places to camp here in colorado!

How interesting: this looks like the mountain mill scene Hermann Herzog painted over a century ago–the painting looks at it from a slightly different, lower angle to better depict the cascade. Beautiful photo – this is outside of the town of Crystal – south of Marble and Redstone, about and hour and a half drive’s south of Glenwood Springs…not in the San Juan mountains
It’s one of the most photographed places in my great state of Colorado!
