I had the opportunity of spending a week jeeping and camping in the mountains behind Silverton, Ouray and Telluride as a teenager. We explored many mines and had the privilege of seeing this waterfall and mill/cabin when I was there.
If you ever get a chance to explore this part of the country be sure and do it.

How interesting: this looks like the mountain mill scene Hermann Herzog painted over a century ago–the painting looks at it from a slightly different, lower angle to better depict the cascade. Yes the crystal river mill, this is the most photographed building in colorado, this entire area around here is one of my favorite places to camp here in colorado!
Would love to see a series of these in this exact location, taken spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Entrancing!
