One of the neat things about living in Sonoma County is that there is always something related to tiny houses going on. This last week I enjoyed a visit with Tammy and Logan and got to get caught up on their move and what it is like living in their new tiny house. Today is a Grand Opening for the Loft House at Tiny House on the Trailer.
On Thursday I stopped by Bungalow to Go to see the one house they almost have completed and the other house that is underway. Both I will be showcasing in a post in the near future. Here is a picture of the one tiny house that is nearly completed that will soon be available to rent and spend some time in. Bungalow to Go is located on 50 acres of beautiful redwoods with a pond that even has a river otter and lots of frogs to sing to you at night.
I wonder if Murphy and Temperpedic can come up with a wall bed, hope they are seeing this and pass the word on!

I wanted to spend a few minutes to send you a note from a grateful subscriber. I have been so delighted with the things you and others have shared about tiny houses.
It appears that your good work will benefit me in the near future. I’ve a piece of land that I want to sell but the market is so bad I have to rethink all of my previous strategy.
One of the things that will be hurtful is capital gains taxes. I will have to move from my house to the property and establish my residency–a 2 to 3 year project–at the other location to avoid paying a big chunk of money.
There’s a house on the property but it needs serious restoration effort and probably would be only habitable in one or two rooms. When I told my neighbor I would have to move, he said “What are you going to do? “Live in a trailer?” I said “Yes.”
It wasn’t until later that I realized I should have said “Yes. I’ll live in a Tiny House!” And now I am looking forward to the experience. Again, thank you for putting this all together. When I get my tiny house done, I shall certainly send you a blow-by-blow narrative! Sincerely,
