The Blue House an Off-grid Micro-House

Jake from Tiny Life Supply just put together a tour video of a tiny house they recently finished up in British Columbia. It is also for sale and here are a few of the details.

The Blue House is a fully off-grid self-sustainable 171 square foot micro home. The thoughtfully designed main floor includes a living space, bathroom, and full kitchen.

A custom built spiral staircase leads from the kitchen to the open loft above. The Blue House features both wood and propane heat sources.

The wall mounted wood stove provides beautiful radiant heating, while the Propane Heater allows for ease of use and automation when you’re out of town.

The fully plumbed galley kitchen features a premium three burner propane stove, as well as a mini fridge and freezer.

The home’s finished bathroom includes a composting toilet, built-in shelving, and a shower with hot water on demand.

The Blue House runs on a powerful solar system, providing more than enough energy to power the dimmable LED lighting and all of your gadgets and necessities.

The interior walls and ceiling have been finished with warm pine tongue and groove, while fir hardwood has been installed for flooring.

The exterior of the home is protected by locally milled cedar siding. Whether used as a guest home, cottage, or full-time residence, the Blue House truly is a tiny dream home.

The Blue House is for sale. Here is the full listing.
