Sam Smily of Southern New York has built this cool little cabin that I fell in love with the minute I saw it. If I wasn’t on the west coast I would see if I could take it off his hands. Milled with Quartersawn oak, it gives it a nice rustic feel.
The interior kitchen is well thought out, with lots of good cabinets for storage. With the steep metal roof tow ward off snow, it makes room for a nice sleeping loft, which is reached by a ladder. Heated with a wood stove.
Sam is needing to relocate and may have this cabin up for sale in the near future. I am in the process of getting a few more details from him as to exact size and other specifications. I will fill in this information as soon as I receive it.

Sweet.
I wonder where in S.NY.
I sort of doubt its in NYC. So maybe Rockland Co.?
I wonder what his land costs were.
The closer you get to the city, the more exponential the price. Land is even very pricey in the Hudson Valley.
looks great! The outside doesn’t look like much but the interior is beautiful. I like the nice wood tones and the open space.
Odd, I think the exterior looks great, and that the interior could use a big helping hand…. you can do SO much more with it than the cheap cabinets and furniture.
great place
I personally am a big fan of rustic exteriors. So really it is a matter of taste. Sam will be getting more info shortly. So stay tuned.
I am interested in this cabin. Please keep me updated. where in New York is this place, I am near Woodstock. Very nice place
This one is going to be the top of my wanted list for my future Tiny Home. I like the simple layout of the kitchen, you can always design it with your own liking.
I’m looking for something just like that! How many acres? Contact me when it goes up for sale, please.
i’d alos love mor einfo—thans
Looks great, wondering how big that wood could be? Easily over heat in a small home, real fast!
