The Home & Garden Centre in Monmouthshire, Wales has a large selection of garden cabin kits that are currently only delivered to Wales, England and the Scottish Lowlands, but I saw that some of the designs and styles of these kits contains some details not seen in other kit structures and which could be translated over to other stationary tiny houses.

Some of these finished kits have built-in decks and covered porches, large windows, double doors and sit well in a garden or on a deck. The company sells kits for traditional and contemporary style log cabins, log cabins that will fit into the corner of a piece of property as well as smaller structures like saunas and and tool sheds. The packages come in complete kit form with detailed instructions for installation and optional extras like insulation kits and underfloor heating. The sizes of the cabins range from about 50 square feet to about 215 square feet. They range in price from $2,200 to just under $5,000.

  1. These are great! Does anyone know of a manufacturer in the SE United States with similar models and prices?

How darling! Nice inviting look and attractive use of wood and windows on these; gives some good ideas. I really like how (unlike so many tiny house designs) some of these have deeper covered porches — deep enough for some tables and chairs and relaxing, and even storage.

Are you saying this are only available in Wales or are they also in No California? I’m in Nevada City and would love to put up a cabin like this on our 6+ acres. thanks

  4. These units are very attractive and the prices appear to be reasonable. I would like more information including the interior layout. The unit in the top photo has a lot of eye appeal to me. Will they be offered in the USA?

These are great little sheds. You can make your own simply by purchasing 2×4 or 2×6 tongue & groove notching the corners. Home Depot sell a very similar item. It needs to be ordered.

  6. Malou says:

Nice exterior. It is much better if they show the floor plan and area in sq. ft. or sq. m.

  7. Hi there, thank you for the kind words about our Log Cabins/Garden Rooms. If you’re into Lodges our parent company has just added some new Leisure Lodges to their range and it would be lovely to get some feedback on them: http://www.timber-frame-building.co.uk/timber-lodges.html

A very similar product can be found on ebay if you wade through and eliminate the plywood cabin kits.
The ones I found like these say they are made of “northern pine” so perhaps they come from Canada or Scandinavia. The ebay Seller offers them delivered in the US for sure, because I purchased one and it was delivered to the site by freight.
    Good luck Tiny House builders!

    I live in North Mississippi.
