ESCAPE Tradition Features Popular Tiny House Details and DIY Kit

The ESCAPE models range from contemporary to vintage and now the company has unveiled their Tradition model. This model features the classic details that made us all fall in love with tiny houses in the first place. Not only that, a DIY kit of the Tradition will be available soon.

The ESCAPE Tradition has a classic layout with some amazing windows.

The Tradition comes in several different lengths including the 25 foot long model with a five foot covered porch. Plenty of windows let in lots of light and the front door even has a doorbell and optional keyless lock. The house has a main living area which can be outfitted with a couch that converts to a bed or kept open to accommodate your own furniture. The dining/work area has a dropdown table that can fit up to four people.

The optional couch easily folds out into a double bed.

The dropdown dining table can fit up to four people.

The kitchen includes full-size appliances and a gas stove with a popup lid similar to an RV stove. Across from the kitchen is a four foot wide closet that includes a clothes rack and a second ladder for the spacious loft above the door. In other versions of the Tradition, you can have a washer dryer combo installed instead.

The kitchen comes with full appliances and plenty of storage.

The optional closet holds the ladder for the second loft.

Loft lovers will appreciate the triangle shaped storage area for books and the additional shelving above the kitchen cabinets. Below the main sleeping loft, the bathroom includes plenty of storage, a standard TOTO toilet or a composting toilet, and a roomy shower.

The main loft has a triangular storage area and storage space above the kitchen.

The interior features pre-finished pine T&G walls and trim and laminate flooring. You can also choose optional painted drywall or oak hardwood floors. The bathroom door is solid core or an optional frosted pine. The house also features a split A/C and heat pump system, standard RV hookups and, just like the rest of the ESCAPE models, the option to go off-grid.

ESCAPE will also be selling a DIY kit for the Tradition.

ESCAPE also sells a Tradition DIY kit for $19,500. The kit includes everything to build a tiny Tradition including the plans and all the materials.
